News from “Save Our St Paul Parish”

1. The 90-day period for the Archdiocese to respond to the St Paul Parish, Option D proposal ends today, 3/21/23. Since the Archdiocese has not responded, we are moving forward with an appeal to the Roman Curia. Canon Lawyer, Philip Gray, of the St Joseph Institute, is assisting with this appeal. If you haven’t signed a St Paul Procurator Mandate, there is still time. Please contact Procurator, Joe Granicke at 314 267 1446, or any of the Save Our St Paul Parish Team, for a copy of the mandate. The more mandates we have, the greater will be the impact of our appeal!

2. There will be a public meeting with Philip Gray, this Saturday, 3/25/23, from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM. Philip will discuss upcoming actions by the Save Our St Louis Parishes group regarding the Archdiocese’s intent to announce “All Things New” parish reorganizations on Pentecost Sunday, May 28, 2023. You won’t want to miss this important meeting on the work being done to save our parishes. The meeting will be at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 1121 Columbus Lane, Washington, Mo. There is no cost to attend, and the meeting is open to all. For free tickets to the event, go to https://sostlp.org/calendar. Click on March 25 and you will be directed to a website to get your tickets. Let’s show our support for saving St Paul and all the St Louis Parishes by filling the Washington KC Hall on March 25!
